Results
Implementing Navigator 64807 adhesive and the 64601 PLUS modifier, combined with 3D TRASAR Technology for Yankee Operations, increased machine speed by 6% and winder speed by 2.6%, yielding $1.4M in productivity gains. Not only was the machine runnability improved through better transfer and stability, the blade performance was also maintained and insufficient doctor loading identified which improved the sheet profile at the higher speeds. The reduced dusting and fire hazard also helped to protect mill personnel.
