For our customer in North America who aimed to improve their machine's productivity, we chose Navigator 64807 adhesive and coupled it with the 64601 PLUS modifier. This portfolio, combined with expertise and digital solutions like Yankee Operation Intelligence, improves productivity, product quality and Yankee protection.
Results
Implementing Navigator 64807 adhesive and the 64601 PLUS modifier, combined with Yankee Operation Intelligence, increased machine speed by 6% and winder speed by 2.6%, yielding $1.4M in productivity gains. Not only was the machine runnability improved through better transfer and stability, the blade performance was also maintained and insufficient doctor loading identified which improved the sheet profile at the higher speeds. The reduced dusting and fire hazard also helped to protect mill personnel.
