Sam De Boo

Sam De Boo is executive vice president and president of Global Markets for Ecolab, the global leader in water, food safety and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and vital resources. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring effective local execution of global strategies and high performance of the company’s local markets and regional operations.

Previously, De Boo was executive vice president and president, Western Europe. De Boo has held several leadership positions within Ecolab, including leading the Industrial, Food & Beverage and Textile Care businesses in Europe. He joined Ecolab in 2009 as vice president of Marketing for the Institutional division in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region.

Prior to Ecolab, De Boo held multiple sales, marketing and general management roles at Unilever in Netherlands, Switzerland and Asia Pacific.
De Boo holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology in Netherlands.
